Teammate's waypoint wont disappear after they left the party

Whenever a teammate's set a waypoint and they leave the party, their waypoint will stay there throughout my session unless I restart the game.

Their waypoint also doesnt seem to appear in my map nor will it disappear if I were to go near it. 

It has been happening quite consistenly since late Season 3.
