Voice lines delay and stuck after challenge completion

 Sometimes, after I finish a challenge, the voice-over from Vee delays to appear. When it finally does, I cannot skip, the dialogue hangs and the game becomes unplayable.

Steps to reproduce: 1) Complete a challenge. 2) Wait for the dialogue. 3) Try to skip.  
Platform: PC / Steam
Tried fixes: Restarted game.
