Coliseum buttons disappear

On entering Coliseum match, the buttons you need to press/click disappears immediately after Darth Vader has his go when I use the middle ability. The game is still active, I can access the menus and click through options, but the attempt never recovers BUT counts as an attempt. This has happened 3 times in a row on exactly the same character turn and ability. So this is repeatable. The in game help just blamed my phone. Utterly disappointing.
