After the Android 9.0 UI update , the game is unplayable due to slow/lagging in game. Everything slows down except the timer, so all my matches timeout. I also cannot scroll to pick toons for updates...

I've also gotten this. I'd say it's more of a framerate drop, frames drop to the single digits.
Oddly enough, tabbing out of the game and then back in let's it play like normal....... however this isnt a permanent fix it often goes right back to low frames
