Tank datacron reviving each tank instead of the first tank to die

No recording because I didn't expect to need to.

JMLS vs Malgus. Used Jedi Cal's insta kill on Malgus, who revived, as expected, but when killing Malak next, he also revived. The tank datacron reads "The first time a Tank ally is defeated, revive them with 100% Health and Protection, and they gain a bonus turn. Limit once per battle." Twice stating that it's only supposed to happen once.

    "The first time"
    "Limit once per battle."

I'm not sure how much more obvious it can be...

I've reread it and it's not clear to me either way.  My presumption would be the same as yours (I don't know if that's the text or how they've worked in the past leading to my presumption).  However, it's not clear it's just the first tank only from the text.

I am not going to argue on how English can be interpreted. It’s not written clear enough to say one tank is able to revive per battle or each tank has a revive limit of once per battle. So no it is not obvious, I am just saying I understood it as each tank has one revive per battle and it’s been working this way since it released. I also feel this is not the first set to do the hence why it’s so good on Sith Empire and GLLO with multiple tanks.

So the words “Limit once per battle” are worth the same as “These effects persist if Bane is defeated.” (Words that you yourself said would be removed almost 2 years ago and are still there btw) https://forums.ea.com/discussions/swgoh-technical-issues-en/darth-bane-unique-omicron-gac-bug/10997343/replies/10997353

Similar to that case, why is "limit once per battle" even there? If something only happens "the first time", it's already limited by that, adding a secondary limit that means the same thing only leads to confusion.
