The raid wasn't touched in the last update. The mechanics are working the same way they were in the last few weeks.
It might not have been touched but that droideka has NEVER acted that way before. They are supposed to have cooldowns on the roll and they don't automatically take a bonus turn every time you take a turn!
If I had a way to record what it was doing you would see for yourself just how stupid it was.
