So this is legitimately a bug. After the update, it prompted me that the hard battles are unlocked but they have been for quite some time. But that’s not what I am worried about. I tried to play grand arena and it is prompting me on battling, so I tried to follow along and I can’t even tap on where the hand is. In fact, I couldn’t even back out of the character selection page or tap anything on screen. This happened to me earlier when I logged in for the update release. I can’t even battle my opponent in GAC and I am worried that I won’t get to have my possible rewards for winning. I tried the same for my second account on pc and nothing is broken. Please fix this soon if possible.

Same here
Get hard unlocked and finger suggests to try hard. It can be avoided after alle selection.
GAC suggests to battle without team so can't add team.
Started after newest update.
Above was PC I'm using Android.

There was another player who experience similar to you. After playing a fleet battle the issue no longer occurred for them. Could you try this?
Fixed it by playing out a fleet battle (was territory battle but I'd think any would do) but for some reason ground battles wouldn't fix it.
Yep I’m in the same boat mate. After login it goes straight to the Hard battles.
That seemed to fix it, I just played a fleet battle and it worked even when restarting swgoh, thanks!
I have exactly the same issue on my android tablet and PC. It must be something to do with my account because none of my guild members are affected. Radio silence from EA...
