Ooops! You've done a whoopsie, and it's not a bug.  You can't insta-kill; if Me-So-Annoying is on the team, and the shield generator is up.

GA's = GLs?  If so, then no, they're not the only ones immune to insta-kills.  Sadly, insta-immunity is becoming a fashion!

So, you also might not know that there are very few instances where you can ignore the shield generator.  You need to wipe that out first, before you can take out the team itself.  Luminous Umbrella and her current FDC will in theory allow you to ignore the protection ball......I guess.

The tactic with Traya's team is to put isolate on shield-guy.  Then they don't have a taunt and you're free to take out the protection ball.  After that's gone, nihli-bihli is free to do his thang!

Cheers. Yep, typo, GLs, and I’ve mistakingly isolated “da boss” with his buffs. Still, quite a few oddities did occur like that Palp datacron not working. Also, in the past SLKR was a guaranteed gungan kill continuously damaging the generator with a swipe and removing the taunt with a stab.

Well yes, I'd be disappointed if Slacker didn't work, but then again....I've never tried it.  I wonder if they had that new Gungan datacron that's just been released?   It looks quite nifty.

Traya is my lady of choice for this battle.  It might be just me, but I like the Savage lead for this battle. Isolate shield guy, zero taunts then. So, you're free to kill the ball, insta boss chubby and the rest will fall apart.

I sometimes go JML, but without white revan now.....hmmm.  With the Luminous Umbrella FDC, it's a 3 second battle, but a bit of a waste.  I've also had success with GAS/501st and Mum Mothma.
