ZTG -1 DAMAGE ISSUE

Not a bug I believe. Coliseum is designed to work against you in all aspects if you can't pay to win. In this case their ability "Roar of the crowd" the more points you get the more damage they do and less damage they receive. Playing against ZTG requires a mixture of patience, RNG and preferably investment of some cash to boost your collectable characters. This new leveling system is obviously designed to be another progression wall to frustrate you into spending money.
ZTG is absolutely terrible and not even remotely fun imo but essentially this is what needs to be kept in mind as I've found out during this Era, for those who are interested:
- The longer the battle takes, the more likely you will time out
- The longer the battle takes, you will do less damage
- The longer the battle takes, they will do more damage
- If you attack them without Armor Plates, their next attack stacks in offensive damage coupled with points 1-3 above in tandem! (Very bad for beams, becomes very bad eventually for stuns too, basic attack less severe)
- Plate management is essential for beams and Stuns
- Focusing one enemy is key while AP controlling the others. Beams will some times go through with 3 stacks, giving that enemy 30% TM > leads to different abilities used by enemies > allows for plate control planning for the enemies with beam / stun for their next attack > focused damage on the one doing basic attacks
- Plates decrease their damage taken, saving (for example Drogan special) for a plateless enemy is worth it
I cleared T7 last night with BAM (L), Zeb, R5, Ward, Drogan, I had failed miserably 4 battles before trying MM L and getting Cara in there for TM manipulation but that led me to do less damage and getting stuck at the end. My loaned units are at 77, Zeb 84, R5 83, Ward 75. I mainly focused on clearing Plates before their beam attack to reduce damage and for their stun attack (or had Zeb taunting, using Ward to clear stuns if needed or R5), when they had their basic attack I pushed hard on a single target, rarely used R5 special except if stun train happened or getting Zeb to taunt the boosted basic attacks. R5 DoT damage is crucial and BAM Birds too, especially close to the end

These Three have been a large issue for players since launch. They take multiple turns, give themselves turn meter, they constantly cleanse it turns into a 30 minute fight just to etch out 50% or above. This boss is 100% boring and time consuming for no reason other than EA had to showcase Jedi Survivor with their Marvel knock offs. In all honesty, these three stooges should have been removed after the first era, not AT-ST. The same issues were reported with each era starting with Stormtrooper Luke, then Vel, then Chopper and they continue today. That's 8 months of data since launch that these three are broken and not working as intended unless your intent was actually to torque off your players with more monotony and time consuming events.

Right - but - that is an interaction that just shouldn't ever happen. It's called bad coding and/or zero testing.

coliseum bosses in general take less damage the more progress is made, and on Zeffo Tomb Guardians specifically the Armor Plating effect (which is take -25% less damage for each stack) so if they have 3 stacks they will take a lot less damage, combined with the fact that your damage is already reduced they only take 1 damage

This particular bug has been around for a while. It’s usually the last Zeffo that you can only do 1 point damage to. Doesn’t really matter how many toons are hitting him, or how hard. I’m on T7, and am stuck on 85 percent because I can’t do any damage to the last guy even with Cara and Mando hacking him some. It’s pretty much BS, but I don’t think they are ever going to fix it. Probably going to cost me some era currency, because I guess your loaned toons don’t always go up in levels. This is BS as well.

You need to complete before 10 turn but you can damage. That is realy awsome
