I play the Sims 4 from the EA App on an pc and every time my child sim has an imaginary friend, they can’t turn their imaginary friend real once they become a teen. They become friends with them and everything they got to do, but it still doesn’t work. The option shows up but when I click to have my teen sim turn there imaginary friend real, nothing happens. I have tried with mods because I do use them in my game and turning the mods off doesn’t seem to work. I haven’t been able to turn an imaginary friend into a real sim successfully yet.
crinrict and luthienrising I have tried with a different household and the same thing still happens. I can't get my kid sim or any other kid sim in a save to turn their imaginary friend real once they age up to a teen. It always shows the option but nothing happens. The only time it worked was when I had only MCCC in the mod folder and it was the Lil' Monster ImagineMe Doll. Pretty Pegacorn ImagineMe Doll and Krafty Kid ImagineMe Doll don't work. I've tried them both and the same thing happens with either. I haven't tried the Wild Child ImagineMe Doll yet. I have tried with mods in the mods folder and I have tried putting the mods folder on the desktop and nothing works.
Do you have any LastException files in Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 ?
- Delete the ones you have
- Trigger the error again
- Check if new ones are created
- If that is the case, please copy/paste the content here. You can open the file with any text editor.
