Hi, i have the same issue, I Had MCCC and tried Moved the entire mods folder to the desktop and deleted the localthumbcache. i decided not to upload any mods again and tried to uninstall the game and ea app and install it again start new save but i still have this issue. :(

Thank you for the advice, i did that around a month ago. For the problem with imagionary friend. After restarting the game and turning off testing cheats and placing the doll in room with more free space it worked.
I am having the same issue, my sim aged up to a teen and I chose the option to make the imaginary friend real, and she did a jump spin with some sparkles, but then nothing happened, and now she's just a doll that I can only reminisce with or seek comfort. She's still in my friendship panel though, but I have no interactions other than open profile or hide relationship. This is so frustrating, this was my first time making an imaginary friend and it's been nothing but bugs and glitches all the way.
Edit - I reloaded an old save and tried to make her real with more space around her and it worked. Clearly there's an available space issue with this transformation!
