Always badly decorated moodlet (Patch 1.68)

Resumed my save and suddenly all sims in my household were getting the 'Poorly Decorated' modifiers, no matter what room they were in. Previously all sims would regularly have positive moodlets in the same rooms and house.

I didn't change anything in these rooms, but I did add a basement to the house. None of the sims have been in the basement yet, and I double checked that I didn't accidentally change wallpapers or anything else. Every room upstairs has several decorations boosting environment.

The basement has 2 floors, the bottom one is unfinished due to lack of funds, but I fail to see how that affects the ground floor and second floors of the house.

Generally bugs still open in the archive do not need to be re-reported unless you have new info.

Same issue here, no matter what decor combinations I use, always badly decorated. I play on PC

  • Years ago, I saved a household of sims and all the rooms from their house to the gallery. At that time, these rooms were all "Nicely Decorated" and "Beautifully Decorated" to these sims at this time in that save.

I've started a fresh save with these sims and most of these rooms. All of these sims are frequently getting the "Badly Decorated" moodlet and none of the positive decor moodlets. It's the same sims and the same rooms, they should be getting the same moodlets. Just because it's a brand new save shouldn't suddenly mean they hate their house that they've loved since I built it. That was the reason I went through the trouble of building them this huge very decorated mansion, so they could go around with +2 & +3 happy moodlets at all times. It took a lot of time and effort, but I didn't mind because my sims appreciated it. If they aren't going to always have the "Nicely Decorated" and "Beautifully Decorated" that I worked hard to make sure they had no matter where they were in this huge house, then what was the point of all that effort? I certainly didn't go through all that effort so game bugs could repeatedly complain at me that this luxury mansion "isn't good enough" via random uncomfortable moodlets multiple times per sim day.
