Is it normal for your bathroom to break frequently, like every week, even after upgrading all of them?
I play base game and started a new vanilla save after the latest patch and noticed that my toilets/bathrooms frequently break. Until this new save, I’ve been playing in a small house with small family so I barely noticed the constant need to repair/replace my stuff even without upgrading any of it. But this time, I play with the Goth and Spencer-Kim-Lewis households, since their house has more bathrooms and more sims, I wonder if the breaking is actually normal? As in the frequency of sims using the bathroom is higher, so have higher chance to break? Even after upgrading it? I don’t have clumsy/evil/mean sims or sims with high mischief in the household, only childish and goofball in Kim-Lewis household. Only the bathrooms keep breaking, no issue with TV/radio/computer/stove/fridge. About 42 days in Goth household, computer and fridge broke down twice, stove I think only once, but bathrooms were like once every few days.
This is the first time I got really annoyed with the frequent repairs that my sims need to make. Never experienced this issue before. But I’m not sure if it is actually a bug from latest patch since this is the first time I’m playing with bigger family in big house.
I play on PC through EA app, on latest patch. Only have base game, no packs or kits. Already cleared the caches and repaired the game after the latest update.

I'm also having issues with appliances breaking. I have fixed the same bathtubs, sinks, and toilets about 6 times in the same Sim week because every second I look, they're broken. This has been going on for a couple generations in game and it has definitely gotten a bit annoying. Mine is in a bigger house as well, the Ward household in Del Sol Valley. It actually made me get the 10 broken objects achievement because I didn't realize I needed to fix every. single. plumbing object in my house.
