Appliances break very easily

This is the effect of the constantly broken fridge. They keep trying to get a quick meal but then it auto fails (broken fridge) and I'm left with this in the fridge, and I can't click on any of it.

Im unsure why we mixed this in with the others. I thought it was exclusive to the Dine out pack and the corresponding restaurant type.

Plumbing breaks after use in my household. I have upgraded them to unbreakable and they still break. Toilets, showers and sinks. I removed all mods to see if it was a mod issue and the breaks were worse. 
every time the items are used, they immediately break 

Mine is on my residential lot. Literally every single day something or multiple things break!

Do any of the following apply?

• Playing with a fairy toddler - they can break appliances until they learn emotional control
• Playing with the gremlins lot challenge - everything breaks at midnight unless a sim is awake
• Playing with a sim with high mischief - is it possible that a household member or frequent visitor is sabotaging things?
• Played with mods - please test a new unmodded save to reproduce the behavior

If none of the above (or if you were able to duplicate in an unmodded save even if it originally happened on a modded save), please send your unmodded save to EA_Solaire.

This is happening a lot with me with gnomes suddenly appearing. 

catloverplayer​  Gnomes do that if they’re angry. Do any of your sims (or their frequent visitors) have the gnome lure ailment from Enchanted by Nature?

None of those apply! 

Many objects are breaking simultaneously and constantly within a short period of time. In less than 3 days, I noticed that objects simply break for no apparent reason, regardless of the lot (even if the lot doesn't have any characteristic that would cause the objects to break); computers, toilets, sinks, and appliances break simultaneously. Right now, I'm on a getaway with my child Sims, and everything in the kitchen and bathroom of the camp simply broke, so the problem isn't isolated to my lot alone. It's interesting to note that I'm aware of the luck and misfortune system, and I know it influences this, but my Sims are fairies, and I constantly change their luck, keeping them all balanced.
