Applying Earrings to All Outfits, Changes Hair & Eye Colours

I was in CAS, I had selected a pair of earrings to apply to all my outfits. This caused my Sims hair and eye colour to change from the colour I had selected previously.

Could you please provide the following information

Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do.
What platform are you playing on (PC, Mac, Playstation, XBox)
Does it happen every time you use these earrings ?
Does it matter which earrings you try ?
