Since the latest update my sim keeps autonomously insulting his adult daughter - their whole lives they have had NO negative interactions, they have a ‘supportive’ family dynamic, no negative sentiments. PC.
Never used mods or CC, only happening since latest update. - CentripetalForce3 months agoSeasoned Newcomer
My one of my two married sims has started insulting their spouse autonomously. She has no traits that would cause this and the relationship has positive relationship dynamics and sentiments. This only started happening after she got pregnant (game hasn't registered it yet) and after the most recent update. I have played for several hours on this save file and this is the first pregnancy I have had on it. She is now autonomously arguing with her partner and insulting him. Also, I cannot take a pregnancy test. I have removed all MODS and CC, also repaired the game.

This has been happening to me for a year now. And my Sims aren't in a bad mood or having a mean streak or evil. They'll have a great relationship with someone, be in a good mood, and then shout forbidden words or insult that person out of the blue. From flirting to verbally abusive in one second.
No mods, no CC. On PC. - mdouglas20103 months agoSeasoned Vanguard
My sims will randomly and suddenly be mean to each other. Often, it's men yelling at their wives. Doesn't seem to be the other way around.
They are in good moods. They have full relationship bars. They don't have traits like evil or mean. They are having a positive conversation (playful, steamy, pleasant, etc.) and then out of the blue, a mean interaction is queued up and they'll insult the other sim or shout forbidden words at them. It happens so fast that I often don't catch it in time to stop it.
This has been going on for over a year. I've reported this issue multiple times. Can you please address this? It's not fun to see your sims verbally abuse each other.
No CC or mods. PC.

This. It's so jarring to see my polite sim suddenly be mean to her sister for no reason. 🙁

My sims are continuously choosing mean dialogue options when chatting to their close friends and family members. Giving one of my sims the loyal trait seemed to stop the problem for him but despite a previously full friendship bar and nothing but good sentiments towards each other his brother continues to say mean things to him. It is not just these two that were affected and none of my sims have negative traits that would prompt them to say these things.
I play on xbox with no CC or even cheats applied.

EA_Cade This is still happening. But I'm starting to wonder if it's not the autonomous mean interactions bug of the past, but a Parenting Pack bug. Because often the Sims will shout forbidden words at each other. And it reminds me of the "loud phase" that kids and teens go through, where kids will randomly yell swear words.
Other mean interactions do happen out of the blue by happy, nice sims (that are in good moods and don't have mean traits), so it's not just forbidden words. But shouting forbidden words at someone seems to be the trigger/the first iteration of this bug. Then other autonomous mean interactions will follow.
