[BDK] Vacuum does not work or any action at all

After the new update, my sims cannot even do any action with vacuum, it shows on build/buy but i cannot drag it to my sims's inventory.

    I'd rather get them there too.... I tried everything to get this kit to work 😭

    Same here, after the update I reinstalled the kit (RWK) and it worked but then I logged out and surprise! the appliances were useless. Can we even get a refund on moolas? Now that the kits are back in the EApp I prefer to get them from there.

    Ok, I’m not sure what’s happening as I went back to the game a few hours after I “resolved” the issue and I’m back to square one, vacuums are back at not working. Seems like I spoke too early.

    Good news everyone! The new update from today April 16th, 2026 seems to have fixed this issue. I updated my game. At first vacuums were not working but after updating I went to the Marketplace —-> My collections and reinstalled the pack (as I did yesterday) and it worked! Vacuums are back up and running! ☺️

    I recently bought the pack and I'm having the same issues. The vacuum won't work at all, and aspirations are missing!!

    I recently purchased the Bust the Dust kit, and I can't vacuum anything with it. When I click on the vacuum, nothing happens. I also don't have the aspirations that should come with it. Is there anything that I could do to fix that? I tried clearing the cache and uninstalling the pack, but it doesn't work.

    Hi ! I bought bust the dust kids two weeks ago. vacuum doesn't work, i can't put it in the inventory, i can't plys at all with this pack. EA doesn't know what to say, can't help, that's frustrating

    Please send the info asked in the first thread to EA.

    Marketplace installed things are installed in the appData folder, not in the installation folder.

    I have the same problem. The aspirations that are supposed to come with the kit are also missing. I'm also having the same problem with the Restoration Workshop kit and the previous commenter and I also have a problem with the chair from the Comfy Gamer kit; I can't interact with it.

    I have the same problem with the Restoration Workshop kit (got it from the marketplace). There is a report if you look by ''appliances''.

    Hi, I'm having a persistent issue with a newly bought Kit /  Set  in the Marketplace. (Bust the Dust).

    All Features are missing, the Vacuum Cleaners are only Deco, no Dust /  Dirt is showing up, I have no Aspiration available and sadly no Dust Bunnies either.

    The Marketplace says it's installed, but I can't organize it in the EA-App. In-Game the Option is activated but nothing happens. The Folder of this Set / Kit is Missing in the main Installation path, it only shows up in the Subfolder: Delta.

    I have already tried the following without success:

    • Cleared EA-APP Cache and performed multiple 'Repair' Cycles and a freshly Installation.
    • Manually deleted the SP Folder in Delta-Folder and tried a re-download (In the Marketplace)
    • During all this I disabled the Antivirus / Firewall (just in case) and started all as Admin.
    • All was tested with and without MODS - no difference
    • The Installation was checked as well in the Regestry (Win10) - no SP-Folder from the Kit

    Is there a Problem with the 'Entitlements' / Licenses when you buy something from the Marketplace? 

    Is there a way to get a working Installation for this and maybe other Kit's / Packs from the Marketplace? (for Futur purchases)

    The Big Cleanup add-on doesn't work properly. The dust system is turned on in the gameplay menu. I have vacuum cleaners but I can't click on them, nothing appears, and when I click on the floor there's no vacuum option.

    Could you please provide the following information

    • Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do. Please pick a thread tag for that.
    • Does it matter which vacuum cleaner you use ?
