[BH] Collectibles gotten from Trashley's boxes don't count toward collection

This has been happening since I bought Businesses and Hobbies last year right after it was released.  I get all my sims to meet Trashley and buy the three different types of boxes sold.  They get a number of collectibles, but the only ones that count are Trashley's Art.  My sims get gems, feathers, metals and other collectibles.  They show as new in my inventory, but they do not show up in my collections.  It's very frustrating getting rare things and they don't count.
