[BH] Employees don't jobs in business

Been messing around with it a bit more, and I think what is going on is that there are some activities that are flagged as for customers that are being given to employees instead. This happens with 'grill' as well. If I set an employee to 'grill' they won't do it, but if i set it as a customer activity, they will, but the customers won't. And that's what is happening with the microphone too, I can not get the customers to watch performances, I've had to put collectibles int he room to at least draw them to the right AREA, but they won't WATCH. But the employees will. 

No one else has the problem? With me it's unplayable

updating this because I did figure out what the problem was, and it is unrelated to the bar problem. The problem was that i had made a raised platform stage, and customers kept walking on to it, so  in an attempt to keep customers from wandering across the stage, I thought marking that area as employees only would keep customers from pathing though it. while they did stop pathing through it, it was mostly because they could no longer interact with anything on the platform, INCLUDING just watching. I raised the stage to 2 steps high, and placed some stairs with a locked door at the top, marked the stage as public, and they could  watch again, and also kept them off the stage (unless they were a ghost).

I'm having the exact same issue. I built a cinema (small business) and my employess are not cleaning the popcorn plates left by the customers. I thought it was a employee bug but my sim won't clean the dishes either, despite having multiple trash cans and sinks to clean up and fully acessible, no platform or doors or employee-only areas on the way. they pile up multiple plates and leave them on on tables, counters and any other close surfaces. I also thought it might be a glitch with the popcorn, but plates with """regular food"" are not being cleaned up either. this is frustrating because it 100% affects my game play, i have to mannually drag the dishes to the sink or trash can or my business will become a mess. EA please fix this.

Having a very similar issue. I have a small cafe with 2 coffee bars. The only tasks of each employee are: tend bar, clean, fix objects. They only if at all tend the bars and no cleaning or repairing is being done. Customers keep complaining about the enviroment so I have to clean it all manually. They have trashcans, sinks etc but never want to clean or if they attempt very rarely, they just throw the trash on the floor. It has gotten worse since I added a radio, they just keep dancing...

I purchased this pack when it came out 6 months ago and it still doesn't work. I made several businesses and my employees never do their assigned tasks. Even when I play with the business owner, they are not doing their tasks automatically. I tried this a lot a differents businesses and differents tasks. I use mods but I also tried without mods. Same thing. The employees never do anything. They either dont move at all or they only socialize with other sim.

Did you try a fresh folder and test on a new save too ?

No it doesn't matter what task it is (tend bar, tend cafe/espresso bar, play instruments, programming, cooking, tend massage table, practice tattooing etc). I just tried with a new save file and it's the same problem. I tried with a movie theater with employees at the espresso bar and the bar; they didnt do their job; there were only socializing. I tried again with the same new save file with a tattoo/spa salon. One of the employee had the task to tattoo, the other one to tend the massage table. Both of them didnt even enter the building. They stayed outside for 10 hours (when the business was open), talking to other sim.
