Trying to setup an old lot to be a residential small business and cannot open as it says there is no valid lot and that I should purchase a venue. Did I set this up wrong or am I missing something? A...

I had this problem, moved my sims out the house, and the lot they are in now it's working fine.... not sure why it isn't working with the other one, I checked multiple times it was a residential. Unless it was because it used to be rental??? But I changed it back to just residential so not sure.
Lwootton92 Maybe it still recognized as one by the system.
Were they never an r-rental for you or did you have them on that lot at some point ?
It was rental residential at one point for a short period of time in our case. Tried selling the business, then evicting and moving the sims that were on the lot back in and now trying to register a small business using the kiosk shows 0 out of 0 lots are available on the business lots assignment. Lot type is currently set to residential.
