Black Screen after launching game

Someone else assist you further if you can't find the mod causing it.

Ive tried to repair it a couple of times and still get the black screen 

After the update I know ! Try to repair it . Know how ?

Mine is the exact same. Haven't been able to play my game from 16th March and its annoying me. I dont use cc or mods and its still the same 

I've done it but it works without my mods only with cc 

hello , yes I'm using mods. I removed them and it works only with cc . I have Mac .

its completely black the screen I cant do anything

• Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do. Please pick a thread tag for that.
• What platform are you playing on (PC, Mac, Playstation, XBox). Please pick a thread tag for that.

Please post a picture of the black screen you're getting. Is it completely black ?

A few people I know have had this issue. One thing that fixed it for a few people were to update their graphics drivers. If that doesn't work, I've seen some people who have deleted their localthumbcache file found in documents > electronic arts > sims 4 who said that worked for them.
