Black Sims/Werewolves (Patch 1.116.223)

My game is fully updated including the patch on July 10, 2025 and 2 of my Sims are "blackout".

There some CC hair and clothing in my game, but neither of these are wearing any. All other Sims appear as they should. These 2 are households in Willow Creek.

Please ONLY use this thread if your Sims went black with Patch 1.116.223 and were fine before this patch. The fix was NOT retroactive and all pets/Sims/werewolves that were already black will not be revert.

All posts that don't fit the criteria will be moved out. It's important for EA to know what's still going on.

Easy fix, just erase all in-game data of your legacies and their skin will be good as new.

This just happened to me too. This is in my legacy save so yes, I have mods/cc but it was fine before. I did not have this problem before today. Never used tatoos as the above users had. This sim is not a gallery download, nor is the lot. She was created in this save file several months ago.

My werewolf Sims are completely black in CAS. I am not using Mods, skin tone doesn't matter, and it's happening with or without custom tattoos. I tried repairing the game and clearing the cache. I can only see the fur when I click on Paint Mode.
