Broken/Bugged Pregnancy

After the most recent patch update, my female sims can no longer take a pregnancy test or try for a baby. This really upsets me because I enjoy the storyline it gives my sims and being able to expand the family. I do use mods and cc, but they shouldn't affect my sims being able to take a pregnancy test, and even people who don't use mods and cc have the same issue. EA, please focus on bug fixes rather than expansion packs. After my sims get done woohooing and I click on the toilet, there is no pregnancy test option available.
