In build mode when I try to raise/lower the house it won’t let me, instead it sinks into the ground which it shouldn’t. When I try to make a basement it won’t be placed and afterwards the game won’t work, won’t let me place things or go back to manage worlds. Endless loading screens if I try. It doesn’t crash after but it might as well since I have to force quit it. Anyone else being met with this issue?

Could you please provide the following information
- Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do.
- What platform are you playing on (PC, Mac, Playstation, XBox)
- Does this happen on a specific save only or generally ?
- Could you post a video of the sinks into the ground part ? Best if you turn on capturing of the UI as well.
On PC: Seems to have been a mod interfering in regards to the basement placing and the house being lowered into the ground was because of a stilts foundation which is something I never reflected over. Still being met with endless loading screens when trying to go back to manage worlds even after removing mods.
Do you have any LastException files in Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 ?
- Delete the ones you have
- Trigger the error again
- Check if new ones are created
- If that is the case, please copy/paste the content here. You can open the file with any text editor.
Deleting the file won't fix your issue. Posting the info is meant for troubleshooting.
