Not at all. When my teens aged up I made the mistake to follow both of them to school. The tasks only appeared for one. On the second day even though it was enabled to follow them, neither got the follow message. They just went to school on their own. I was not able to follow them at all. I do not have any mods or cc. I play on windows and currently playing the Martínez scenario. Also the second teen which did not have the tasks the previous day is not greying out while in school.
This was exactly what happened to me too :,) Sucks they still haven't fixed it, but glad to know I'm not crazy.
Has anyone found a fix yet? Repairing the game doesn't seem to work, unfortunately. Nothing else I've tried works either...
