Cannot craft wooden throne after claiming reward

It is the last day of the event and I am still stuck and have no option to craft the Wooden Throne to advance. My sim is Handiness level 10, I tried using both the reclaimed wood crafting table and the regular woodworking table. I have restarted my PC, checked to make sure my game is up to date, made sure my account is linked to EA, etc.  Where the rewards should say "Claimed"  in the UI, it says "wwwwwwwwww". I searched through all the forums on here as well as looking through the Facebook groups to find solutions and nothing works.
