I have two children in CAS and I'm trying to assign their parents. I assign the first parent just fine. When I select the relationship type for the second parent, the first one is canceled and reverts to "Household member." It will only let me do one parent at a time. The parents are married if that matters. I have MCCC but this has happened to me before I ever downloaded any mods so I doubt that's it. It doesn't happen with every household but when it does there is no workaround.

is this for a household you newly created or did you take them to CAS with the cheat ?
If it's the second, could you check the family tree of the children if they already have a phantom parent ?
Same. I can assign either parent, but not both, so I had to have a storyline where the mom married the stepdad right after she left their father when the youngest was just born, but the stepdad was secretly their bio dad which is why they look like him. They have his last name now but aren't truly related under the law (EA).
