I am trying to remove a dad / husband from being related to the people in the house, but it's not working. I have done "testingcheats true" and "cas.fulleditmode". When it loads to CAS, I click on "husband" and try change it to "household member", it won't let me select it. Same as "father" to "household member". Nothing happens.

I’m sure this was already said .. It just won’t let me respond but I’ve been trying to add parents to existing created sims I have.. Currently was trying too for my sibling sims Yasmine & Dominic who are brother & sister .. However, when I go to add the parents.. I can create the dad for example and it’ll let me list them both as his kids but when I go to create the mom .. it allows me to list only one of them but then removes the other parents & then the drop-down options change to like brother/sister or partner and I don’t want that.. I want to be able to go in at any point and create new parents. Can we please get this fixed to where we can get this ? I play on PlayStation so no cheats/no mods
I added parents for some of my Sims when the new pack came out, and with a couple of different families there's an issue where if I add a father, the mother is removed, and if I add a mother, the father is removed. Sim A has two parents, Sim R (father) and Sim I (mother). If I add R as Father, I is set to Stepmother. If I use MCCC or CAS to add I as his Mother, R is set to Stepfather. I have tried to delete his parents and re-add them several times and this same issue always replicates. The issue exists in CAS as well, one parent can be chosen as his parent but it always sets the other to housemate, with other options greyed out. There is an empty portrait added for the Sim's other parent, so if R is set to Father, A's mother is an empty portrait, if I is set as his Mother, then his father is an empty portrait also. It just see-saws like this instead of consolidating the family tree.
