Can't make changes to build

My post was deleted and I was directed here. So im just going to copy and paste what I said and put it here..I guess? Doesn't seem very organized, especially since this thread is 6 months old but ok...

--I noticed lately(the past few days at least) when I try to place objects onto a lot it won't place down. If it does place down and I try to sledge the object then it wont delete the object, nothing happens when sledging. Sometimes pressing the undo button doesn't remove the object either. The game is up to date, an update was just installed today actually-March 20 2025- But this has been going on since I got the business pack and installed the patch last week. 

I just got the wedding story pack today.  Downloaded the pack, went into the game, placed a lot from gallery and I couldn't place a refrigerator onto that lot either. So I went back to my current play lot. Tried to place the same fridge, this time it did place down but when I pressed "undo" nothing happened, when I tried to sledge the object, nothing happened. I tried to pick it up and drag it to sell and it wouldnt let me. Then I tried to undo again and this time it worked. So it's very wonky right now and frustrating when trying to build.--

The original post isn't my issue or even the CURRENT issue others people are having so why are we being directed here? This happens when you try to place the very first object, not the "second" object. Also the item doesn't even show up and It doesn't stay stuck to my mouse either. So that's another thing that doesn't relate. Whoever the mod is for this thread needs to get reevaluated on how they organize bug reports because my problem being redirected to this post doesn't make any sense.You guys should reconsider how bug reports are made. Maybe then you'd have a better time keeping track of what's happening and not pushing CURRENT problems onto 6 month old posts that are different than the issue people are having NOW. Especially the title, no way I would've found this post and been like "Oh that's the problem I'm having" lol because it isn't. The only similarity between the current issue and the OPs issue is its a build mode problem. But that's what tags are for are they not? Smh
