Can't Save After Using Build Mode

If I go into Build Mode at the start of my game and spend some time there, I can no longer save. I can "Save Lot" in build mode so it goes into my Library, but then when I try to "Save" at the regular save screen, nothing happens. It doesn't even try to save it. I have to force quit the game at that point.

The saved lot will still be in my library when I restart. Of course it didn't save it in the game, so I end up having to demolish what is on the lot, and then go into my library and place that saved lot.

Also, this only happens when I don't have a sim on the lot. If I place a sim on a lot and then go into build mode, I am able to "Save Lot" and then "Save" the game normally. It only happens when I am in build mode only with no sim on the lot I am building on.

This seemed to have spontaneously fixed itself before the last update in April 2026 (the 2.32 one for Xbox).

Sorry, this is NOT FIXED. I forgot to add in my last sentence above that it had SEEMED to be fixed after the Marketplace update, but it started doing it again after the patch that removed the pack popups at the start of game. So it is still there. Sorry I don’t see how to edit my post to change that.
