I click "Water All" and the Sims goes to the plant and does nothing. The queue prompt simply disappears. I've tried this with multiple Sims. "Tend Garden" also doesn't allow plants to be watered. This is game-breaking because it means without cheats/debug gardens are untenable. Without the ability to grow gardens, it breaks several aspects of gameplay.

Since the last patch, I have also been experiencing this. It works if it's an oversized plant, but it won't let me water anything else. Removed all mods, removed cache and repaired the game but nothing has fixed it.

Ok. I had the same problem. I could not water any of my plants that were in the planter boxes but I could water my trees in the single planters. So...I took all my plants and put them in the single planter (the ones used for trees) and now I can water everything. The "water all" works fine and I have a very large garden. Everything works with your plants in the small single planters. So I think the problem is with the larger planter boxes. Hope this helps you guys with a work around until they fix this problem.
I tried to post this and I can't see where it shows up in this post so I will try again. I have the same problem as all of you about the watering of plants. I could not water anything in the large planter boxes but I could water the trees in the small single planters. So I took all of my plants and put them in the small single boxes and the "water all" works fine. Haven't tried the tend garden yet on these because when I used the tend garden is when mine started having the problem. Not sure if the problem lies within the tend garden or the big planter boxes but one of those is the culprit. I play a strictly vanilla game so no mods or cc. By the way, I have a very large garden.

Same here. Trying a completely vanilla game to find what bugs exist. This is the second one I've found so far (besides being unable to pay bills). Yes, they're in the 4-plant wood planter box.
Me too. I’m living off the grid and simple lifestyle and now I had to get a gardener because my plants are dying and I can’t do anything about it.
Also having this issue. After installing Hobbies expansion pack, I built a house in Oasis Springs with a bunch of Handmade Garden Pots (each holds one plant) on a rooftop patio. I’m able to purchase those pots with the Better Build Buy mod, my only mod. On initial plant and water it worked fine, but then wouldn’t work after. I’ve now transferred all my plants to the round Garden Pots, and am able to water them now. I really prefer the square wooden handmade ones, so would like the purchased ones to work. But more importantly, my Sim can’t water the plants in the large square planters in the community garden area.
For me, I realized the problem was only with the 'Garden Planter Box' from the Base Game (the large square one that holds up to four plants), I have no problem watering the plants in the 'Garden Pot' from the Base Game, or the 'A-OK-Bloomer Vertical Garden' from Eco Life.
