I just updated my game and when I went into my current household and went to CAS so I could see the new base game updates it wouldn't load. It was stuck on the plumbob loading screen no matter what I tried. I repaired the game which I've never had to do after an update and I updated the mods I had that could be updated so far. Has anyone else had this issue?

I for sure thought my cc was starting to fight back but the game itself loads up fine. The CAS is not loading, I can't even make a new household.
If you have the More Columns mod, you need to get the updated version of it- new one is out and works (tested it myself)!!! I legit just removed the old version and put in the new one and it works fine now- I would say to check any and all mods that effect CAS- trait mods seem good and all of my CC works fine now too.

I disable my mods and it came up fine. now I get to play the 50/50 game.
Okay so it’s not just me!! I repaired and updated my mods, still stuck on cas loading :/
I have the same issue, Ive tried everything and it doesnt work:/ i cannot even close the game:<
also u can right click on windows button, go on task manager, right click on the one that says the sims 4 and select end task
What I do to close if your on windows press the windows act like your restarting your computer but then press cancel and it automatically closes out sims

ok yea glad (& saddened for us) that it's not just me. I've updated my mods, turned them off and on and cas still won't load. It just loads forever and then I have to force quit.
its bugged it will only work if your mods are off 🥲
im having the same issue, i removed the more columns for CAS mod and its still just a white screen :/ i also cant close the game, i have to task manager force it closed
i also dont have ui cheats so thats not the problem
I don't even have the more columns for CAS mod anyway, and the UI cheats has just been updated...still not working :(
Same i thought it was my pc so I tried restarting it multiple times but the same thing happens.

i have the same problem i hate ea/maxis im old all i want do is play my game and go to sleep but i can't do that cause they broke!! every time they put out a update the broke it!?! and its like how do you expect people to give you 50 bucks and your crap doesn't work

EDIT: I have removed UI cheats & more columns for CAS. It has fixed the problem. Fingers crossed it continues to work. Saw people say there were 2 updates today so make sure you did the 2nd update today as well

i had the same problem, but i don't have the more columns or ui cheats mods. i ended up taking out 4 of my mods and my cas loaded. if you have mccc, slice of life, wonderful whims or the no ea eyelashes mods it could be one of those because mine is fixed now.
I think it was no ea eyelashes bcs I have wonderful whims slice of life and mccc in my game n it wworks fine
atleast it’s good to see that others are having this problem because i’ve been stressing since last night.. when i get rid of my mods it works? but i wanna be able to use my mods.
