whenever i try to get into cas it is just stuck at the loading screen, i saw someone else say it was happening to them and they removed the multiple columns mods and it worked after, i removed the mod, repaired the game and retared it multiple times and its still not working and just on the loading screen, is there anything else i can do to try to fix it?

never had more columns mod but ive had the UI cheats I deleted that mod and still isn't working :(
i have chingyu cas traits, more cas columns, more cast traits, and a background i removed them all and cas worked then i added back one by one and it seemed that the more cas traits more columns and the traits where the problem but i added just the traits and it worked when creating a new household but not when editing a existing one and i also found out cas.fulleditmode messes it up too idk what is wrong
Mine isn't working either. It's probably on the EA end of things, so I would wait for them to release a new game update to fix the bug. If you have UI cheats remove that one until its updated, sometimes it can mess with other mods if it hasn't been updated. Usually the modders like the more columns, UI, stuff like that, will update the mods after the new game update happens because sometimes they wont work. It just might take awhile. You could also try deleting the localthumbnailcache from your mods folder (google that before doing it so you know what to do). If all else fails, I would just wait for EA to fix it. Hope this helps!

Same issue, only mod I have( now removed even after repair) is UI mod.. which was updated the 23rd. so that is not the issue. Still wont open CAS. Issue is on EA's end and the features they added to CAS in update. We just need to sit back and wait for them to release a new patch to fix what they broke while trying to fix what wasn't broken. To be on the safe side remove any mod installed that tweeks the CAS feature until it is repaired.
I wish that was the case for me! I don't have either of those mods... I've removed all mods and restarted - CAS still is just a loading screen. Any other suggestions?
Once I deleted the more columns mod the game went back to normal again, at least in what has to do with CAS.
I'm having exactly the same issue! If I try to enter CAS through plan an outfit or from the world map view I just get an infinite loading screen and have to force close my game. I also can't do anything in build mode, I can only move, add or delete ONE object and then nothing else will place or allow me to move it etc, even items from my sims inventory I can't take out and place. Super frustrating!! 😭
