whenever i try to get into cas it is just stuck at the loading screen, i saw someone else say it was happening to them and they removed the multiple columns mods and it worked after, i removed the mod, repaired the game and retared it multiple times and its still not working and just on the loading screen, is there anything else i can do to try to fix it?

My game has done the same thing ever since the upgrade, I have tried to restart my computer log out of ea and nothing seems to be working. The only cc I have is hair and make up. It’s been two days since the upgrade and my cas is still not working and they even came out with a patch to fix it and it’s still not working.
guys the culprits are probably the eyelashes cc's and more traits mods, disabled those and cas is now working, try it. I beg the creators to update their mods.
So after a bit of trial and error I noticed it’s not any one specific mod or cc. It is a conflict between cc and the new “apply all” feature. When I downloaded the update my primary sim I was playing during that very moment was not going into CAS(constant loading). But if I went to managed worlds and went to another playable sim (with cc) I had no issues. So when I went back to my original sim it continued to happened. So the “apply all” feature is having conflict with cc. My only fix that worked was disabling mods and cc. Creating a vanilla save then going back in to my original sim with the vanilla save. Unfortunately I ended up losing saved outfits, or custom hairstyles. But all my mods and CC worked fine, but I had to redo all the outfits and hairstyles. A large inconvenience but my mods and cc are working fine now. I’m sure others have figured out work arounds, but this worked for me.

aside from the scripted mods like UI Cheats Extension which always messes up after updates, I found 3 of my non scripted mods messing with CAS and the UI on a high level,

about the scripted mods, just uncheck "Script Mods Allowed" in "game options/other"
or even better move them some place else until you update them,
and I think DX11 has some problems for now! so I suggest keep running the game on DX9 till they fix it w the next update
Hey! So I think I fixed it in my Game.
I removed all Script Mods and only kept my Build Mods and CC and started the game again. When I tried going in CAS It worked again. I put a few Script mods back in my Mods folder, that I definitely need, and it still worked. I have deleted all my Traits Mods (More Traits, etc.) and the UI-Cheats mod because I figured they are adding to the Problem. I now also tried out to put the More Traits Mod in CAS from thepancakel back into my game and going into CAS, and it worked after I installed it newly.
yeah this is happening to me too, got rid of all the CC and mods people recommended in this thread and it still doesn't work. is it just EA being silly with this update orrrrr
same problem for me, I've tried removing mods and adding them back in, but each time I go to edit a household or change sim I get stuck on the loading screen. And in build mode the different colour swatches on items all have tiny question marks and sometimes glitches, and now 3 of my sims have completely disappeared, they were my faves :( please fix this problem!!!!
