I fill my pets bowls and have a sim call the pets, the pets go to the bowl but do not eat from it. I have tried using different pet bowls and having them in different places but they still won't eat. It shows them as uncomfortable and at risk of being taken away.

Please please fix this. At least the cats are using the litter tray. But other is you can't even click on the pet obstacle course.
I know I have already reported this and it still hasn't been fixed, its frustrating because I have had to not put pets into my game as they can not use the pet bowl, and when you click the bowl you you get no option to call pet to eat.
The only way to get them to eat is to cook a gourmet pet food but that's annoying to do.

My dogs will not eat from bowl unless called to eat and sometimes not even when called to eat. This is right after updating on 9.18.25
I keep getting a notification pop up saying they are hungry despite there being at times two bowls of food full for them. They will eat but only if I have a sim call them to eat. It’s happening on pretty much every save I have pets on but mainly with dogs.
I came here to see if there is a thread similar to my issue and found this one, so I'm posting my issue here. My cat had 3 super cute kittens a few days ago and 2 of them are feeling very uncomfortable and are having a hard time to eat. The bowls are full, not blocked but they just stand in font of the bowl looking to the left and right but not eating. They are hungry but eating does not work! Repaired the game several times, refilled the bowls, switched bowls, ordered them to eat again but noting. Same issue with sleeping. they are tired, energy bar orange, hopping into to pet bed but wont sleep. Really frustraiting. They only thing that helps is cheating their needs. No more fun playing the game with all these bugs!
I'm having the same issue with one of my cats, my sim family has 2, but only the female spayed cat is having issues with eating from bowl. I am able to get her to eat if I use the "Call pet to eat" command by any of my sims. I am not using any CC/Mods. This started happening a month ago, back then I bought a few kits.
