Does anyone know how to restore the textures that went missing from the last patch? I know it was hotfixed but my pets still don't have their custom coats :(
As stated by EA_Cade, the latest "hotFix" patch was not retroactive and the customized textures on pets/horses/werewolves already impacted will stay that way. Their painted textures are forever lost and cannot be fixed.
TIP from me; IF you have a backup of your game and save files (which is always recommended to do and to have), created BEFORE the BIG "NATURE IS CALLING" Patch, delete all your current, broken save files and add the ones from you backup. I did that and so far my pets and horses appear back to normal again. Yeah you will lose some of game progress BUT is much better that recreating all your lost pets/horses textures. - I do not have Business & Hobbies and therefore no "painted" tattoos usage and no black sims.
