If by chance you're still seeing the black dog issue, I thought I would mention that I have a dog that had this issue within the last week (I am not sure of the date). I found that if I went in CAS with her and played around with some area in the customization, I think it was color(?) (she's an all white Chihuahua) when I chose white it fixed the issue for me. Her fur turned back to white, and it was not a flat white (with no details like the black color was). She looked normal, so I didn't question it and saved and left. Anyway, I thought I'd mention it just in case as a possible workaround.
