[CHEATS] Skill Cheat Not Working To Lower Skill Level Under 2

Update Patch [PC; 1.118.242.1030; 9/‌18/‌2025] said "Skill cheats can now be used to lower skill."  However, it is not possible to lower skills below level 2 (Level 2 is the lowest skill level via cheats).  Skills need to be lowered to the lowest level 1.  Ideally, skills should be able to removed by lowering the skill to level 0.

I am using the following cheat:  "stats.set_skill_level Major_[skill name] [skill level]"

I have never used Mods or Custom Content in the entirety of my Sims 4 gameplay.

I will also say, it would have been helpful when former issue is labeled with the status "FIXED," that it is noted what performance is used to fix the issue.  For example, EA forum "[CHEATS] Skill Cheat Not Working To Lower Skill Level" was labeled as "FIXED" by "crinrict" by referencing "Fixed in Patch 1.118.242/2.20."  This is not helpful because it does not say how an issue was fixed (e.g. was a new cheat created, does the old cheat work, etc.)  It should be more specific than "Fixed in Patch 1.118.242/2.20."  Especially if the "Plumbob and Go - Getaway The Sims way!" game update is not going to say how a player is going to identify the bug fix.
