hasen't happened with a new save. must be that save

Could you test if it works on a new save (you don't have the ditch the current one, just try if it's a general issue or just that save)

dont know. i did go back to a previous save but it was only the day before

Do you have this on a new save or a pre-patch save ? 

There's some issues with festival/collection objects from pre-patch.
