Im also experiencing this issue but never went to the fair. I moved lots and now my cow and llama are stuck in my household inventory. Can't even assign newly purchased animals to a newly purchased shed, they just end up in my household inventory. It's driving me insane since I just picked the sims back up and the cottage living pack had me excited to play.
