After the latest update, cows and llamas cannot be put in the barn. They are moved to the family inventory — a notification appears that they are neglected, but there is no way to take care of them or take them outside to the barn.
This has actually been happening for a long time. There may already be a bug report for it, but it was submitted some time ago, so you may need to do a search. But I'm glad you mentioned it, it needs fixing!
