[CoL] Animals stuck/disappeared in inventory (Patch 1.108.318)

Add me to the list, here. I have some households that run the animal sheds just fine and just this one that started giving me problems a few months back. 

For context, I don't play with any CC or Mods and have all of the currently available EP's up to the new Adventure one. I play on a PC.

I didn't take them to the fair or move households or anything. Just one day my llama was in the household inventory, starving to death and miserable, and wouldn't come out. I couldn't move it or sell it or anything from the household inventory. I got a second llama to see if that would help, but now I have two starving llamas in my household inventory. The grim reaper just hangs out on my lot full-time waiting for the llamas to die, but they don't die. They just send depressing messages of woe to the family, so everyone is constantly on edge and crying. 

I've tried moving the shed, deleting the shed and buying a new one, the inventory purge cheat (emptying all of my sim's inventories first and they are farmers/crafters so there's a TON in there all told), and nothing! I don't want to move this entire household or bulldoze and start over if I can at all help it - and definitely don't want to go through all of that trouble if it won't even fix things! 

My cow, on the same lot, is fine. As are my chickens and mini sheep and goats, the dog, and the cat. (This is my animal loving household)

Can anyone suggest something? I'm not super tech savvy so if it's anything beyond a simple click and follow the instructions that pop up solution, I'm gonna need detailed instructions. I'm also a rotational player, so I'm not going to do anything that will mess up the rest of my saves just to fix one household.

I hope this finally gets fixed soon, or someone discovers a fix for it, because I miss playing this household a lot. :(
