Console Crashing

I've been having a lot of fun playing the game on console but recently after the big update it's become really really really annoying. I've had my game crash every time i try to create a sim for a household. I've gotten about 1 hour of work done and it completely crashed on me and got rid of my work. I tried again and the same thing happened AGAIN after about 20 minutes. I'm quite over it honestly. I thought the update would be fun but it's actually making me hate the game even more. On top of that,  every time i open the game it keeps popping up with all the packs that i've bought and downloaded so i've had to clear them every time i log on. I honestly want to just completely stop playing the game for a while because it just feels unplayable but I get reminded of how much money i've poured into game and it hurts my feels all over again. Fix it.
