Cooking Lag

Whenever I have my Sim go to cook food, the game always lags and freezes before and after it opens up the panel to select a meal to prepare. The cooking animations are also super glitchy as well. Multiple times, my Sim stopped cooking in the middle of a meal.

As far as I know, it's just regular Cooking and Baking meals; Gourmet Cooking runs perfectly fine besides the glitchy animation.

The game will also crash sometimes after I select a meal to cook.
