Hello. I’m reporting a long-standing and game-breaking issue related to Cottage Living.
**Bug description:**
After a cow dies or is removed from a barn, it becomes impossible to assign a new cow to that barn. The game either:
- doesn’t recognize the new animal,
- leaves the cow stuck in household inventory,
- or greys out the "Assign Animal to Barn" option.
**Additionally:**
- Gardening plots and other farm-related objects (like feeders or coops) cannot be placed. Error: *"Object must be placed on a valid object."*
- The bug persists across saves and households, even after full resets, bulldozing, and moving families.
- Mods were not used to modify animals or barns.
- I’ve tried everything: removing all furniture, resettling households, clearing cache, starting fresh, installing mods to fix it — nothing worked.
This bug has been present since 2021 and is widely reported. It makes farming completely unplayable and breaks the promise of the Cottage Living pack.
**This is not a minor glitch — it’s core gameplay being broken.**
Please acknowledge this issue and escalate it for fixing. Players have spent money on this pack, and this feature is simply not usable as intended.
