Counter items preventing cooking & baking

The Noble Necessities counter is causing the stoves and refrigerators to bug out and be unusable if you have decorative objects like fruit bowls or paper towels from the Decorations menu on them while next to them. Tried multiple stoves and refrigerators before I deleted all the deco.  Only then did the stove and refrigerator work.
