Cursor Not Moving and Screen Frozen On Launch of Game

Ever since I updated my game about a month ago every time I go to launch the game, the screen is frozen and the cursor will not move. If I slide over to the main desktop then back to the game screen it will unfreeze for one second then immediately freeze again. I have tried repairing the game, uninstalling and reinstalling and still no luck. So bummed I haven't been able to play in over a month.😞
