Deleting multiple gate tiles freezes game
I experienced a glitch three times in a row after restarting my computer each time. If you try to delete a gate tile more than one at a time, the game will glitch, and I am unable to click on anything else. It will not allow me to save. The save loading screen will spin for 15+ minutes. I waited roughly 15 minutes twice, before forcing my computer o restart to get out of the game. [XB/PS] Endless Load Times
During the past 1 year I encountered endless loading multiple times. I play on console (PS4, so please don't ask me if I removed mods/CC because I can't even have any) and I own many packs: most expansion, gameplay, stuff packs and since last month 3 kits. I always have the latest version of the game, so that shouldn't be causing any problems. If I played for hours or notice minor bugs such as keys malfunctioning (no, it's not related to my keyboard) it's more likely that I'll get stuck in endless loading. I'm not saying loading screen on purpose because it also applies to saving. So far I was able to salvage these situations by just saving it as a save file instead of a lot but last time the save files didn't load either. My best bet was to save it to my library because I suspected it would cause an infinite loading screen, if I went to manage worlds anyways. The upload still froze. Recently, I had a lot of infinite loading screens. It has also happened during the current event multiple times. The only pattern I recognize is that it occurs either while traveling or while going from build mode to manage worlds. It didn't bother me that much but during the past month it has happened a lot. Frozen game/menu after ad
I'm yet again having the issue where the full-screen splash ads for packs that I already own freeze the game and make it unplayable. This is incredibly frustrating and it has been going on - and a fairly common issue - ever since these full-screen splash ads were added to the game. I shouldn't need mods to simply be able to load into the game, and after the last update even mods can't fix it. You've now even got creators EA has partnered with for packs in the past unable to get into their own games due to this. If EA can't get the splash ads to stop freezing the game for all players, they need to either turn them off or let us turn them off. I buy all the packs, but I won't be for much longer if being able to play the game on any given day keeps being a lottery due to the broken splash ads. Sims keep freezing
After completing the new update on the Sims 4, I'm constantly having to reset them. They all just stop moving. I have no mods on my game, no old files or saves as I got so fed up with it I removed everything and re-installed the game, created a new household of one and it just keeps freezing. feeding toddler
Every time I try to feed my toddler in this playthrough the game begins to glitch. The other sims in the household struggle to place her in a high chair or to give her the food. I have to (reset object) the other Sims in the household because the food gets stuck on their hand and they don't end up feeding the toddler. There is always an issue with bathing the toddler, too; the Sims will freeze or glitch before they can even complete the animation.
Time/Sim freezes while environment still moves
This is a very specific bug symptom so please only post here if you see all of the below in your game. There are many similar issues, so this should be kept to this issue only. This can either be an extreme lag or a total freeze. Symptoms in the game Time stand still although there can be a delay where time moves for a but when part of UI is frozen You can't click on anything Sims move but do interactions endlessly Environment moves If you have multiple household members, you can't switch between them. Going to the map in this state can lead to endless loading You can still switch to build mode but only delete one item. Not all households are affected. Unsure what causes it. Unsure/More info needed It start happening at a specific time Computer starts to use up a lot of the resources Not this issue Sims don't respond to commands, standing around doing nothingcats have been stuck using the litter box for over an hour
My cats get stuck in the squatting position in their litter boxes for hours as if they are constipated, but it only happens when the litter box desperately needs cleaned. The sim also can't clean it while this happens. I have to reset the object, but after resetting the cat still needs to use the bathroom, and won't use it after it is cleaned.
