If Child-Sim spends too much time in sauna, they receive "Superfluous Steaming" moodlet (+2 Uncomfortable). This is expected and functions properly! ✅
If the Child-Sim continues to "Relax" in sauna, they will eventually exit the sauna, then the "Death by Overheating" animation plays out. The Child-Sim then dies and their soul is reaped. This is also expected and functions properly! ✅
After choosing the option to "Become a Playable Ghost" the Child-Sim changes their outfit from sauna-towel > everyday outfit, then they "React to Becoming a Ghost" ...except they never turn into a ghost and remain alive with the "Superfluous Steaming" moodlet. Child-Sim needs also reflect that they are still Human (Hunger, Bladder, Sleep, etc) and not a Ghost needs (Ethereal Sustenance, Goo Waste, Otherworldly Slumber, etc). This is not expected and does not function properly! ❌
I was surprised Children-Sims could use the sauna, I never tried it before. Its a nice spa feature, but I also wish the death > ghost feature worked too. 😞
