[DU] Sims stop working on Presentation Board and cannot complete it

Could you please provide the following information

• Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do. Please pick a thread tag for that.
• Do you have this issue tested on both Mac and PC and if so, do you have different save games on each ?
• Does it happen to any Sim and no matter where they use it ?

I am also having this exact same problem. I do have CC installed and I am on PC. I have two young adults registered for classes. One in Foxbury, one in Britchester. The Britchester student was able to capture information before a recent update to the game at home. Now she's unable to begin a task with the presentation board at all despite capture information still being an option. She will fail this semester because of it. The sim will walk up to the presentation board and the task will completely disappear when in the vicinity of the board. A patch update went through sometime later that day after trying with the Britchester sim and the Foxbury Sim was able to interact with her presentation board while in the Foxbury dorms. This was about 2 days ago (around the time this question was initially asked) Now neither can interact with their boards. 

Please follow these steps to test  your game on vanilla game with no mods/cc

• Create a backup of your save game
• Move your mods folder to the desktop
• Delete the following files from your user folder.
  •   localthumbcache
  •   Any lastException Files
  •   Any LastCrash files.
• Test your save (you will loose all cc on the save but since you created a backup you can go back to that afterwards) and see if the same error occurs, then report back.

I launch my CC with curseforge, will this complicate moving the mod folder?

Error persists after following above instructions with no change. Presentation Board cannot be interacted with or without CC, with cache files cleared or not. Capture Information interaction appears, sim runs to it, the action disappears immediately when in vicinity of board. The following EA DLC are installed on this save: Royalty and Legacy, Cottage Living, Seasons, University, Eco Lifestyle, Dream Home Decorator, Spa Day, Dine Out, Home Chef, Tiny Living, Laundry Day, Cool Kitchen, First Pet, Fitness Stuff. Kits: Tea Time Solarium, Silver Screen, Desert Deluxe, Industrial Loft. 

Having this issue suddenly with a University Sim too.

is this for capture info only or generally ?

Capture Info seems to be the only option where the sim has to interact with the board. The board can be placed in the sims inventory manually (by dragging and dropping) or the sim can put the board in their inventory. Unfortunately, I do not have a sim with a fully complete board or one showing the option to "Give Presentation" despite being enrolled in classes needing said board for a final grade. So at least for my two sims, the only option is the Capture Information, which does not work.
